Children and Young People

We aim to provide a range of activities for children and young people to choose from on different Sundays. Children and young people are welcome to help with welcoming people, operating the TV, reading the lesson, serving, helping in Sunday School, singing in the choir, etc.

Parade Services

On these Sundays, Sunday School and Guides are in church, with a child-friendly service.

Sketch books are also provided to allow the children to respond to the service in their own way.

All-Age services

On these Sundays, children are in church, with a child-friendly service.

Sketch books are also provided to allow the children to respond to the service in their own way.

Sunday School

On other Sundays, there is a Sunday School in the community room, at the same time as the main church service.

The children start and finish the service in church.

We particularly focus on introducing children to the Christian Faith through Art, Drama, Games and other practical activities.

Admission to Holy Communion

Children from church-attending families, who are felt to be ready, are aged seven or over, and who have been baptised are welcome to attend a course all about Holy Communion, before they start receiving it for themselves.
